Happy Birthday

I saw an object today and it sparked a memory. It was a little dress I got when I was four. It all started when I was four. It was the day I was waiting for all year. It was my birthday and I was so excited. In fact I was so excited that my head could have popped off. I went to school and got a party hat from my teacher. I walked home with my mom and when I got home everyone was waiting for me. I was so surprised and happy. We played hide-and-go-seek in my basement. Nobody found me so they called my name and I came out. Then my mom called so we could eat cake. Everyone raced upstairs. We ate chocolate cake and that is my favorite kind of cake. It was great! After that I got to open my presents. I got a bear with white fur and it was huge, a toy doll that is still in its case today with its sparkly dress. Then the last thing I got was a little light blue dress. I was happy and thanked everyone. I will never forget that day when I was four years old.
