Introduction
Lincolnwood Elementary School is located in Northwest Evanston in School District 65. Led by Principal Beth Sagett-Flores, her talented staff is working as a team to implement writing workshops throughout the grades. Our goal is to create lifelong writers who freely utilize appropriate writing strategies and independently make important decisions about writing in order to effectively express ideas within the context of a variety of genres. The 4th and 5th graders are excited to share their stories and poems with the public and look forward to becoming accomplished authors. They have been inspired by their dedicated teachers: Traci Mull, Elaine Purnell, Kathy Rhodes, Karen Luciana, Marla Dobrin, and Luke Larmee. |
