The Surprise

Everyone was awake except for me. I was in my bed, asleep with thin sheets covering me on a summer day. I woke up and leisurely walked toward the door, then marched towards my sister’s room. My sister was jumping up and down. Why the excitement? I thought.
I ate breakfast with my big family. The pancakes were delicious, with the syrup. Pretty soon my dad came into the room.
“Dad?” I said.
“Yes?”
“What’s that in your hand?”
“Well, it’s the food for Six Flags, so we can eat lunch there.”
“Six Flags!” I screamed. “We’ve never been since 2nd grade summer break.” I had the biggest smile on.
“Well then get dressed, what are you waiting for?”
As I hurried to my room to get dressed I heard this funny noise. “Tick, tick.” There it was again. It was coming from my closet. I opened my closet and my sister jumped out. I think she was trying to scare me.
“Get out!” I screamed. She quickly ran out. I changed from pajamas into comfortable clothes. We all soon got into the car. When we got there, we went on a scary roller coaster, and my dad said, “The fun just began.”
