Secret Turkeys

by Briana, 5th

This is a story about two secret agents. They are on a very important mission, you’ll find out what the mission is later. These secret agents are turkeys. Even though they are turkeys they still do their jobs very well, supposedly. Anyway there is going to be a huge dinner for thanksgiving at six o’clock this Thursday.

Thanksgiving dinner eating means eating turkey, and if you eat turkey that means you have to kill a turkey. This is the turkey’s mission; they have to figure out a way to get humans to stop eating turkeys. About five million turkeys are killed each thanks giving.  ‘We can’t keep sneaking around like this one agent said to another’’. I know’’ said the other agent. I think you should know what the agent’s names are. Their names are Joe and Jon.

The next day they tried to think of a way to stop the humans from eating turkey. ‘We can’t let them eat away our species’’ said Joe. ‘Look at the bright side, at least we haven’t been eaten yet’’ said Jon. Yea, whatever Joe said’’.
They decided that they were going to replace all the farmers turkey’s with pigs. They would let all the turkeys out into the wild. Then people would have to just eat pigs for Thanksgiving.

As the turkeys head out to the farmers barn they got a little nervous. They wondered what would happen if the farmer caught them trying to let the other turkeys out to the wild. Would the farmer cook them? Do you think we should go through with this? If you want our species to be come extinct you don’t have to do anything said Joe. Little did he know he had nothing to worry about? Jon and Joe’s plan did work.

It was Thursday and they were glad that there plan worked. They were bragging about how good they are and then the two turkeys set out to the dinner party at six o’clock. Just in case the humans were still looking for some turkeys they hid behind trees. They went from one tree to another all the way to the dinner party. They just wanted to make sure that all the pigs were where they were supposed to be, on the human’s plates.

Joe and Jon were ecstatic! The humans are never going to eat turkey for thanksgiving again said Jon. Even though they might have stopped people from eating turkey then people still eat turkeys now. That is because the farmers got new turkeys the next year, the next year, and so on. They still did an excellent job that year. That is the story of the secret turkeys. A .K .A Joe and Jon.

The End
