Barack Obama's Speech

I was sitting in my classroom thinking today would just be a normal day, until my teacher turned the news on for us. At first, I didn’t even think it would be that important but once I saw it, I changed my thinking. It was President Barack Obama! He had a message for us on the first day of school. His speech helped me learn that everyone has something they are good at and it’s their responsibility to find out what it is. “Wow this is meaningful.” I thought to myself. It helped me to understand that our learning is not for anyone but ourselves. Our future is depending on us. We should never give up but instead we should learn from our mistakes. Even if you fail, you should try harder and harder if you want to succeed. If there is change, there is future. We are responsible for ourselves.
