Ole A. Thorp Scholastic Academy, located on Chicago's northwest side, is a Chicago Public School that serves 820 kindergarten through eighth grade students from the north half of the city. We have been honored with the School of Distinction status for the past three years.
O. A. Thorp is a Scholastic Academy. It is an elementary school that offers an outstanding educational program that encourages the active involvement of the parents, with the teachers and the students. It has a code of conduct and dress for students, a commitment by our parents to ensure the child's attendance, and completion of homework, and offer frequent communication between the home and school.
